Collaboration with Washington University in St. Louis

Jan 12, 2022 | BALTIMORE –  Complete Omics’ Clinical Proteomics team announced a collaboration with Professor Marco Sardiello and his team from Washington University in St. Louis on a clinical proteomics project focusing on using Complete360 platform for identifying novel biological mechanisms.

Washington University in St. Louis (WashU, or WUSTL) is a private research university in Greater St. Louis founded in 1853 and named after George Washington. As of 2020, 25 Nobel laureates in economics, physiology and medicine, chemistry, and physics have been affiliated with Washington University, ten having done the major part of their pioneering research at the university. In 2019, Clarivate Analytics ranked Washington University 7th in the world for most cited researchers. The university also received the 4th highest amount of NIH medical research grants among medical schools in 2019.

Dr. Sardiello’s research focuses on regulatory networks of cell metabolism and neurological disorders.  His laboratory uses genetics, cell biology and systems biology approaches to study how the cell regulates its metabolic programs and how dysfunctions in these programs lead to neurological disease. His ultimate goal is to translate the knowledge of these regulatory networks into therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative disorders.

The collboration between Complete Omics Inc. and Dr. Sardiello is focusing on identifying novel biological mechanisms critical for neorological diseases.
