Anirudh (Ani) Kashyap is a Computational Biologist at Complete Omics Inc., where he leads the development of advanced computational pipelines and automation systems to support next-generation clinical proteomics. He earned his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, following his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Manipal Institute of Technology. At Complete Omics, Ani has spearheaded efforts to streamline mass spectrometry workflows by automating end-to-end QQQ and timsTOF processes, from method creation to instrument control and data processing. His contributions have significantly reduced manual intervention, increased throughput, and improved reproducibility. Ani also developed an mProphet-based peak scoring model for targeted proteomics, enabling robust, fully automated peak picking, and designed scalable database infrastructure to centralize and enhance research data accessibility. These innovations have directly supported biomarker discovery and accelerated the delivery of clinically actionable results.
Before joining Complete Omics, Ani served as a Predictive Analytics Researcher at Johns Hopkins Medicine, where he pioneered the use of vocal features to predict postoperative cognitive decline, achieving high accuracy through advanced machine learning methods. He also gained experience in applied AI and computer vision through roles at Discite Analytics & AI and India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), where he developed solutions ranging from tumor detection models to autonomous vehicle technologies.
Ani’s interdisciplinary expertise spans computational biology, bioinformatics, AI, and full-stack development. His career reflects a strong commitment to leveraging advanced computation to solve pressing biomedical challenges and advance precision medicine.
